Description
Graeco-Roman world, ca. late 1st millennium BCE. Six cast bronze belt buckles, each of symmetrical cross form with a round boss at the center of each. Three are pierced laterally for suspension; the other three have bars on their undersides for attachment. Made to be worn as part of military uniforms. Size: 1.8" W x 1.8" H (4.6 cm x 4.6 cm)

Condition
One of the larger pieces has some ancient losses to its corners. All others are intact. All have green patinas of different colors. Two have some encrustation on their surfaces.
