VICTORIAN OPALESCENT GAS SHADES, LOT OF TWO, Vaseline (reacts under black light), comprising a Dot-Optic/Coinspot example and a Pulled Feather example. Fourth quarter 19th century. 4 7/8" H, 5" fitter, and 4" H, 4" fitter.
Feather undamaged, Dot-Optic with several minute flakes to top and normal roughness to fitter, all probably as made.
Provenance: From the Thomas R. Golden estate collection, Wilmington, DE.
