VICTORIAN R. HOLLINGS & CO. BRASS PIANO LAMP, brass swirling font vase, brass drop-in font raised on a signed adjustable compressed swirling shaft with cast-brass decoration, stamped-decoration brass hub terminating in a weighted cast-metal acorn finial, three elaborate figural legs with Pan-type motif and applied ceramic medallions. Electrified. Boston, Massachusetts. Fourth quarter 19th century. 65" HOA, 42" H to brass adjusting connector, 18" DOA feet.
Good condition overall with the brass font having significant alterations, solder repair and brass plug repair to font vase, brass adjusting connector non-functioning, one leg lacking ceramic medallion, some medallions with overall crazing. Loose crown around the font vase.
Provenance: From the Culver collection, Tom & Michael Andrews, Berlin, MD.

Condition

Good condition overall with the brass font having significant alterations, solder repair and brass plug repair to font vase, brass adjusting connector non-functioning, one leg lacking ceramic medallion, some medallions with overall crazing. Loose crown around the font vase.
