Description
Rare Royal Vienna-manner porcelain goblet, 19th century, hand-painted with a depiction of "Cupid Binding Aglaia to a Laurel," signed "Carlo" along the lower right edge of image, on the underside a blue beehive mark, green "RW" stamp of the Rudolstadt Porcelain Works, Thuringia, and "Cupid bindet Aglaia" in gilt script. 6.5" H. Old 3.5" vertical hairline crack from rim, missing a metal nut on underside; bolt loose. Very similar to the painted porcelain cabinet plate to be found in Lot 125.
