Oceania, Papua New Guinea, lower Ramu River region, ca. early to mid 20th century CE. An interesting spoon, hand-carved from wood, with a small scoop and an abstract anthropomorphic/zoomorphic handle. The ovoid scoop portion traces upwards to a rounded rectangular joint from whence stem a pair of slender legs.
