Description
A reproduction offset lithograph after “Iris and Mandarin Duck” by Sakai Hoitsu (Japanese, 1761-1828). The image depicts two ducks sitting on a rock beneath an iris plant looking into a pond. The original work was done in ink on silk and was produced in the 18th century during the Edo Period in Japan. Professionally framed in Asian style gilt wood frame, measures 18"x37"x3 /4". Weight 8 pds. PROVENANCE: A Private Charleston SC Estate.
