George III-Style Mahogany Breakfront Bookcase

20th century, the molded cornice above four astragal-glazed doors, above a lower section fitted with a drop-front secretary drawer opening to an interior fitted with various drawers and cubbyholes surrounding a central cupboard, over two paneled cupboard doors, flanked to either side by two short drawers over a paneled cupboard door, raised on a plinth base.

In good "as found" condition. The case is solid and sturdy. The piece exhibits normal minor mars, abrasions and wear. All drawers and doors open and close freely. All locks are present. A functional key is present for the upper cabinet doors. There are two pieces of missing corner molding from the right central lower door. The molding at the base of the upper case is missing from one side; the missing molding is about 11" long. At that same rear bottom corner is a veneer loss, approx. 2-1/2" x 1-1/2"; part of that loss would be obscured by a replaced molding.
