Three Utilitarian Pottery Articles, American, 19th century, a salt-glazed stoneware oyster jar, attributed to Thomas Commeraw, Manhattan, NY, early 19th century; a redware ant trap with lead-glazed interior; and a salt-glazed stoneware inkwell, Northeastern U.S. origin, early 19th century. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market group, purchased by the consignor decades ago. Oyster jar with minor chips. Ant trap with two large base chips, two minor base chips, and other minor wear, Inkwell with chipping around base and two shallow chips to top edge. H (of oyster jar) 5 1/2".
