SILK BONWIT TELLER SUMMER GOWN, crêpe georgette summer gown with red, royal blue, purple, kelly and lime green flowers and foliage printed onto cream colored silk with exquisite drape, expert tailoring, dropped, split, and capped sleeves, very full gored skirt, royal blue silk bow on back measures approximately 13" L, interior marked with gold on silk embroidered Bonwit Teller luxury fashion line label; gown slides over the head and has only 6 hook and eye/snap closures along one side. Circa 1950. Measures to fit approximately 34" bust, 28" waist, 34" hips; approximately 57 1/2" L from top of shoulder to edge of hemline.
Excellent condition with only a few very small stains upon close examination on the front, a few pinholes, otherwise without damage, significant storage odor, or any indications of shattering.
