Description
AMERICAN LILY OF THE FIELD PIECED QUILT, hand-stitched, 24 repeating blocks in center section, six repeating blocks on each side, outline and grid quilting, applied bias binding, two-paneled plain backing, all cotton. Faded label on back. Circa 1920. 80 1/2" x 75 1/4".
Very good to fine overall condition, top with few minor stains and light fading, backing with narrow strips of discoloration and few scattered stains.
