Description
An Egyptian faience turquoise glazed head of Hathor, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, and perhaps once adorned the handle of a mirror or similar, the features of the goddess in low relief with nice bright blue color remaining in the glaze. H: 1 7/8 in (4.8cm). Ex collection of Professor M.H. Abrams, Ithaca, NY.
