DESCRIPTION: An antique French tantalus set. Composed of an ebonixed, wooden foundation, designed with a hinged top lid and two hinged side panels that open to reveal the crystal liquor cups and decanters, resting in a removable wooden tray with spindled finials. The case is adorned with inlaid Boulle style bronze and mother of pearl in a carotuche form centering the lid. The crystal items are garnished with etched grape cluster and floral motifs. Composed of 4 decanters and 7 cordials, one is missing.

CONDITION: One decanter has a hole that needs to be repaired, or replaced along its neck. Minor fleabites, to crystal and one cordial is missing. Some wear to inlay and wood scuffing.
