DESCRIPTION: Wood and brass oval liquor box containing a crystal liquor set of decanters and shot glasses. Box lid and sides feature marquetry in geometric patterns, and lid is embellished with a monogrammed crest with foliage and trefoil design; box feet are brass. Decanters feature etched floral motifs on their sides and stoppers and removable silver plaque labels with enameled lettering; each decanter has an etched number on its lip and a different plaque label around its neck: "ANISETTE" is numbered 3, "MALAGA" is numbered 28, "CHARTREUSE" is numbered 29, and "CASSIS" is numbered 91. Shot glasses feature etched floral motifs and cut star patterns on their sides. Decanters and glasses are held in place by brass holsters with a grapevine design. Box's front door is attached to lid by a hinge and features a locking mechanism marked "TH ANNEE RUE CHAPON 22 PARIS". Dimensions and piece count are as follows:
