Preface by Princess Bibesco. 200 watercolor illustrations by G. De Gardilanne and E. W. Moffat. Includes: [Bound text] Hardcover. 13 x 20 inches. Unpaginated, includes list of the 200 plates with descriptions. Corners bumped, some soiling. [Plates] 200 color plates, complete. 9 1/2 x 15 inches, enclosed in 4 heavy hardcover folding boxes with fasteners, each plate tipped to a folded carrier sheet with a printed number and title mounted below the plate, and a fold-over mat frame embossed with the plate number. Boxes in poor condition, splitting or separated at seams, pieces missing, fasteners and loops missing, general soiling. Plates are vibrant with occasional light soiling, but some mat frames are soiled around edges with a few small tears. Plate 1 has a French note, in pencil, written on the mat.
