(6) Japanese wood block prints Flowers and Birds, Shinagawa's Wood Block Prints: A Collection of Flowers and Birds. A Set of 6 Pictures 8" x 10". Published by Kyoto Hanga-in Co., Ltd, Tokyo. No date, but c. 1950s. The six prints, in bright, crisp colors, are enclosed in a cloth-covered folder with ribbon ties.

Notes/Literature: Huguette Marcelle Clark (1906-2011) was an heiress and philanthropist, who became well known again late in life as a recluse, living in a hospital for more than 20 years while her mansions remained empty. She was an accomplished artist and musician, having studied under famous portrait painter Tadeusz Styka, and her paintings were exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery, Washington in 1925
