Two Chinese Silk Embroideries; a Purse made from a 19 Century silk embroidery on pale yellow silk mounted with a gilt metal closure & chain probably Chinese; together with a blue silk embroidery of flowers and butterflies on orange satin mounted as a mat. The purse with light age related wear; the mat with some damage to background. Purse 6 1/4 inches high (16 cm.). Mat 14 1/2 inches high.
