A GROUP OF TWO ROYAL VIENNA STYLE PORCELAIN PORTRAIT PLATES, GERMANY, CIRCA 1890-1920, comprising a shaped rim plate with strapwork salmon and crimson border with gilt acanthus scrolls, swans, and flowers, the center with a transfer printed image of a formally dressed couple in a park like setting signed "Revier," marked on the back with blue Bildenshield, and Rudolfstadt mark used between 1904 and 1924, and title in black "Liebesnerben," diameter: 9 3/8"; and a portrait plate with cream glazed border with pink beaded outline, five claret ground lappets with raised gilt floral scrolls alternating with pale blue ground ovals with raised gilt urns with scroll supporters, the center with a transfer printed and hand highlighted portait of a dark haired beauty with a bow in her hair titled "Sommer" on the back, signed "Wagner," with underglaze blue Bildenshield mark, title in black and "43," diameter: 9 1/2".

In overall okay condition with rubbing and minor losses to gilt decoration commensurate with age and use, the "Revier" plate with a large chip to outer rim. Some scratching to surface.
