Hand signed by the artist Californian Artist Steve Kaufman opened his Los Angeles art studio, The Art Studio, in August 2000 to herald in a vibrant new era of art and social progress for the 21st century. As Andy Warhol's legman and creative assistant for nearly 10 years, he is now known as the "Prince of Pop Art", and the only painter ever to be awarded commissions by BOTH the Van Gogh and Picasso estates, Steve Kaufman specializes in the here and now, capturing the excitement and cultural ebb and flow of his generation. Steve Kaufman is taking the art world and pop culture by storm, surpassing his master in range of subjects, innovations and progressive social/media events. Steve Kaufman designed some of Warhol's most famous theme parties at famous Studio 54, Kaufman now opens his 26,000 square foot studio to mix art dedications, premieres, film openings and charity work with the hippest Hollywood event parties ever. Not only the hub of the Pop Art world, The Art Studio is now the hub gathering for the icons and social visionaries of future generations. He has been featured on Fox TV and MTV, and has created 55 racial harmony murals, along with the AIDS Mural in NYC and the Meals on Wheel mural in Spago Restaurant. His works also hang in the White House and Smithsonian and have been commissioned by the 1996 Olympics and Campbell's Soup for their 100 year anniversary.
