Housed under glass in a modern frame. 1865. 19 ¼" x 34" sight, 24 5/8" x 39 ¼" OA.

Catalogue Note: Likely a shipmaster, John T. Dodge (19th century) is documented as such in Boston directories during the years 1851-1857. Several examples of his work depicting American vessels in foreign harbors, such as Le Havre, Buenos Aires, and Montevideo, have been recorded.
