Later custom book-form case. Circa 1785. Map 14 1/2" x 16" OA, 13 1/2" x 12 3/8" to neat lines.
Very good condition overall, expected toning, expected wear/minute losses to wraps and page edges, some scattered minor stains, some moderate stains to frontispiece, title page, and preface, a prior owner's inscription to interior; map with expected toning, some foxing/staining and discoloration, minor tear at binding (1/4" L), some expected minor edge losses.
