AMERICAN HISTORICAL "THE APOTHEOSIS OF FRANKLIN" PRINTED FABRIC PANEL, red and white, depicting Franklin and Liberty under the motto "Where Liberty Dwells, There is My Country", and George Washington driving a leopard-drawn chariot in which sits an allegorical figure of America holding a plaque inscribed "America Independence 1776". Housed under glass in a modern frame. Probably circa 1932. 35 3/4" x 29 1/2" sight, 38 1/4" x 32" OA.
Very good condition with some light stains, fading, and a small hole in the upper left corner.
