Description

A Pair of Empire Gilt and Patinated Bronze Candlesticks. Egyptianate in style depicting female figures with urns atop their heads Height : 10"

Condition

Overall very good condition. The candlesticks have a light amount of wear to the gilt finish along the figures, bases for feet, and candle cups. One bobeche comes out easily, while the other one is not able to be removed. The bobeches have very slight wax residue on the interior. The pieces do not have any markings. The bronze bases are uneven in the patination throughout the support for the figures and the base of the candlesticks
