Description
Finely potted ovoid body decorated with three ox heads on the shoulder, tapering to a tall neck carved with upright lappets terminating in a jar-shape mouth molded with three frog form florets, the body incised with two roundels each enclosing a young boy holding lotus sprigs, covered overall with a creamy-white glaze, the base partially glazed revealing the white buff stone ware, 12 inch high. Provenance: From a private estate. Ex-collection of Edith and Joel Frankel, New York.
