CHAMBERLAIN'S WORCESTER ARMORIAL PLATE: Circa 1820, British, Chamberlain's Worcester Porcelain Armorial Plate with gadrooned edges broken by scallop-shells and palmettes; blue and gilded cavetto and central armorial decoration of a scallop-shell over bar below which is a ribbon with the motto, "LOYAL AU MORT, (Loyal to Death), back stamp in iron red reads, "Chamberlains Regent China Worcester - 155, New Bond Street, London", 9.5"d.
A similar plate can be found in the permanent collection of the British Museum, London Museum No. 1887,0307,V.89.
