Description
CD-3 COVERED LYRE PRESSED SALT, colorless, raised on four scrolled feet, cover with pine cone finial and beads on rim interior arranged 10 x 20 x 10 x 20. Extremely rare. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1830-1845. 2 3/4" HOA, 2" x 3 1/4", base 1 7/8" H.
Good condition overall, base with chipping to the interior of three feet, one with a moderate chip, some flaking and roughness to the edges of the scrolling, cover with scattered moderate chips.
