Description
Native American, Northwest Coast, ca. 1950 CE. A pretty example of a carved wooden totem pole, depicting a fox-like creature holding a smaller human, with an owl perched atop the fox's head. Green, red, white, and black pigment augment the natural deep color of the wood, creating a visually exciting piece with a touch of whimsy. Size: 7.8" W x 10.4" H (19.8 cm x 26.4 cm)
