DECORATED BANDED KEROSENE STAND LAMP, opaque white with detailed floral and geometrical polychrome decoration, opaque white No. 40 base with gilt decoration, one underside corner handwritten in gilt "LAST", brass connector, No. 2 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising a Collins slip burner, 4 1/4" shade ring, and appropriate colorless straight-sided MacBeth No. 24 chimney. Third quarter 19th century. 13 1/2" H to top of collar, 5 3/8" SQ base.
Undamaged lamp and setup, decoration with expected light wear, base with normal manufacturing imperfections including scattered annealing lines, a broken bubble, and mold roughness to foot, as made.
