19thc Chinese Export Porcelain Teapot & Sugar Bowl

Item Details

Description

A Chinese Export porcelain teapot and covered sugar bowl, 19th century. Both with grisaille decoration and the teapot with gilt highlights. The teapot having twisted handles and fruit formed final, measures 6" high to top of finial, 9.5" wide from end of spout to end of handle, 5.5" diameter. Together with a similarly decorated double handled covered sugar bowl, 5.5" high, 5.75" wide from handle ends, 4" diameter.
CONDITION: The lid on the sugar bowl has a slight yellow cast, possibly suggesting some restoration.
