Description
Porcelain vase crisply decorated with Macintosh roses, the work of Lorinda Epply in 1920. Ms. Epply has painted three bouquets interspersed at the shoulder and an intricate repeating pattern at the waist, the red, pink, blue and purple contrasting nicely against the bright white ground. Marks include the Rookwood logo, date, shape 2368 and Ms. Epply's incised monogram. There has been professional repair to a neat drill hole on the bottom that did not affect any of the original factory markings. Uncrazed with just a few tiny nicks at the base. Height is 15 7/8 inches. Large and quite nice.
