A Chinese Ming Long-Quan Celadon porcelain high bowl. Meticulous finish covers the delicate clay, showing silky smooth sheen on the glaze. Shallow porcelain bowl, with rounded cavetto rising to form the steep curvature, raised on a splayed countersunk tall foot base. The interior carved in shallow relief of lotus blossoms, and various floral-form motifs. All reserved in soft olive-celadon underglaze. The underside rim base left unglazed with orange-brownish firing spots with edge-cut foot rim. Bowl rests on a hand carved hardwood pedestal.
