The Chinese porcelain wine cup potted in a deep vessel form, steep sides raised on rounded cavetto toward slightly flared rim, raised upon concaved foot base. The exterior decorated with delicate carmine-red underglazed hand painting of vigorous dragons borne amidst fumes and flames over clean white underglazed ground. Banded with auspicious geometrical patterns on rim and foot. The painting, and the shape without overlap the outlines of the design, well drawn, clear, subtle, and distinct. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous.


Mark on base, six blue script -KaiShu- characters reign mark, enclosed by double fine rings, YongZheng Reign Period of Great Qing.
