Chinese celadon nephrite jade carved into an ovoid deep vessel, with elevated trumpet flaring rim. Slender PiXiu creates the handle with another PiXiu bust protruding from underneath the spout, with a free ring ornamentation. The exterior carved in relief with arrays of scrolling rococo tendrils. Raised on a splayed foot base above carved hardwood base. The jade shows moist milky appearance, with beautiful pale-celadon iridescent.
