A Sizeable rotund body with rounded shoulders converging into a tall straight neck, flared opening, and a slightly concave foot base. The exterior is delicately decorated with hand painted gnarled tree branches bearing a trifecta of luscious peaches. Peaches are known to resemble immortality, marriage, and spring-time. Daoist's also believe the peach tree grows near the palace of Xiwangmu who is the Queen of the Immortals. A variety of foliage reach up toward a patterned sky amongst large, rough boulders. Phoenix tail pattern lines the neckline. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman.


Mark on base, a six underglaze blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, Made in The Years of QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
