Chinese Qing Dynasty Famille-rose porcelain bowl. Deep curvature flaring upward to form the rim, with a slightly raised footing. The rim has been painted with a colloidal gold. Famille-rose translates to the pink family, with the pink glaze coloration present on the plates surface. Depicted on the center of the dish is a concisely written Chinese characters with officials seal. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman.


Mark on base, a six underglaze blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
