Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain plate, with peach branches bearing fruit. Contoured lines gently rise from a short foot. The exterior masterfully depicts a gnarled tree limb caressing the inner and outer surface, with ripe peach fruit weighing down the boughs. The interior and concaved central base contain white underglaze. Peaches are known to resemble immortality, marriage, and spring-time. Daoist's also believe the peach tree grows near the palace of Xiwangmu who is the Queen of the Immortals. Fu can be translated to mean bat, prosperity, good fortune, and can even delineate happiness. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman.


Mark on base, a six underglaze blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.

Over all in EXCELLENT Condition; With normal anomalies in nature, sign of minor scratch. No chip, No crack, No hairline, No repaired.
