Description
A GLASS 'JADE-IMITATION' DISK-SHAPED SNUFF BOTTLE, QING DYNASTY
Glass of even, creamy-white color in imitation of 'mutton fat' jade, the surface polish revealing a similar 'oily' feeling as the real mineral. China, 18th- 19th century

Shape: Flattened disk
Hollowing: Standard
Mouth, neck and lip: Short cylindric neck with slanted inner lip, flat top and smaller mouth
Base: Flat raised foot with slanted border
Stopper: Glass stopper in imitation of amber, carved with similar irregularities as the bottle, possibly matching; good old spoon

Width of the mouth: 6 mm.
Width of the neck: 16 mm.
