Description

An early 20th century 15ct gold hand tinted photograph locket. Of circular outline, the glazed, tinted photograph with dimple surround, the reverse engraved, possibly with the Fenwick family crest of a phoenix and motto 'Toujours Loyal'. Diameter 4.2cms. Total weight 16.1gms.

Condition

Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

Glass has few, deep scratches.

Stamped 15 within a kite-shape, rubbed, worn.

Stated length does not include the surmount loop, length 5cms.
