Item Details
Description
**Originally Listed At $300**

Ancient Rome, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A large rounded cup or bowl with a slightly flared rim, comprised of incredibly thin-walled glass covered with natural encrustation that has developed over time. The original hues of the glass are difficult to decipher due to the encrusted surface which presents a melange of golden yellow, beige, peach, cream, and brown hues. A wonderful example of a piece of ancient glass that has endured the elements. Size: 5.375" in diameter x 3.125" H (13.7 cm x 7.9 cm)

Provenance: private East Coast, USA collection

All items legal to buy/sell under U.S. Statute covering cultural patrimony Code 2600, CHAPTER 14, and are guaranteed to be as described or your money back.
