Faberge Style Gold Mounted Parasol Handle

Item Details

Description

A gold mounted parasol handle in the style of Faberge, shape of an eagle's head. The beak is carved from agate, the head from bloodstone, set with rose diamond eyes. The gold mounts are chased with laurel and enclosing a band of semi-transparent pink guilloche enamel. Measures 8.4 wide. Provenance~Sotheby's 1979 (page 56).
