A CHINESE EXPORT GILT AND ENAMEL DECORATED PORCELAIN ROSE MEDALLION PUNCH BOWL, POSSIBLY REPUBLIC OF CHINA (1912-1949), the rim decorated with repeating themes of auspicious fruits, butterflies, and roses on a gold ground, above interior and exterior painted registers depicting figural scenes of court life, interspersed by flowering sprays of leaves with insects and birds, each within respective dragon or bat boarders and raised on a circular foot, painted with scrolling lotus vines and blooms. Some rubbing to gilt, mild losses of enamel paint decoration, but overall in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
