Description
A GEORGE III QUEEN ANNE STYLE OAK AND ELM DRESSER, CIRCA 1760-1810, of through tenon construction, molded cornice over a shaped frieze, above three open shelves, flanked by an arrangement of four bombe shelves over two shaped rectangular doors, surmounting a rectangular top base with a bead molded edge, above three drawers, flanked by sides with applied molding, all raised on cabriole legs, terminating in trifed feet, joined by a shaped skirt. Height: 81 1/2" Width: 75" Depth: 17 1/2"
Condition
Apparent repairs include some replaced interior woods, replaced cornice and frieze, and most hardware. Exposure to woodworm throughout. There is some expected surface wear including scratches, darkened stains, chips, and overall wear throughout. Traces of original green paint.
