Description
A trio of Nayarit Post-Classic creme-slipped bowls, West Mexico, c. AD 900 - 1200, each wonderfully preserved with burnishing lines and red rims. Each is well-preserved with nice mottled deposits and root marks. Bowl: 2 1/2 in (6.3 cm), Dia: 5 3/4 in (14.6 cm); Shallow bowl: Dia: 5 1/4 in (13.3 cm) and small dish: Dia: 3 1/2 in (8.9 cm). Ex Clifford Baker collection, San Diego, CA, acquired in the 1960's.
