PERSIAN ISFAHAN WOOL ORIENTAL CARPET, 1920, W 8.8', L 13':Having a central medallion with a dark blue background surrounded by shades of red, beige and light blue. The rug has an overall floral motif.

The serged edges are intact. The other edges do not have any fringe and they both have wear into the red edged guard border. At one end there is a 4" area and a 1 1/2" area that have begun to cut into the outer floral border by approx. a 1/4". At the other end of the rug approx. 24" of the red guard border has worn away. The outer floral border in this area is intact. There is wear to the pile. TW 5-4-18
