LENZKIRCH ROCOCO STYLE BRACKET CLOCK AND SHELF, brass movement marked "Lenzkirch / A.U.G." pine bough trademark and "1 Million" above "382414" for serial number 1382414, and additionally numbered "56", double coil-gong chime, brass dial with applied porcelain numeral plaques; walnut case with birdseye maple veneer, circular glass dial cover, gilt-brass ormolu-style mountings including cherubs, classical style masks, floral bouquets, and scrolling elements, raised on four brass lion-mask feet, set on bracket shelf with matching veneer and decoration, and stamped Lenzkirch trademark to back. Key and pendulum present, pendulum numbered "56" to match movement. Early 20th century. 27" HOA with bracket shelf, clock 21" HOA.
Case good to very good condition overall, front panel with split above dial, minor wear and some expected natural splitting to veneer, but no apparent losses, chime strikes with solder repair/reinforcement; bracket shelf lacking drop finial. Currently runs only for a very short period, wound tight, likely needs cleaning and minor adjustment, movement otherwise appears to be in good order (see Catalogue Guarantee).
