Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A triangular fragment of translucent Roman glass displayed within a modern gold-wire-wrapped setting. The glass fragment has an incredibly pale green hue with areas of fiery iridescence, and is complemented nicely by the twisted and spiralized design of the mount. The pendant hangs from an incredibly thin gold chain with a double-lobed suspension loop. This necklace is utterly beautiful and most certainly wearable for any occasion! Size: 14.625" L (37.1 cm); size of pendant: 1.25" L (3.2 cm); grade of gold: 14 kt.
