Fine antique 19th century Japanese meiji period embroidered silk tapestry. Crafted of silk. Features a multitude of finely embroidered birds and bugs including peacocks, cranes, chickens, pheasants, swans, pigeons, and moths, all amongst +flowers and bamboo. The ends are delicately decorated with fine mesh and fringe. Back lined with silk. Measures including fringe 102" x 82". Good overall condition with good coloration. Minor wear consistent with age. In house USA +continental shipping $85 plus insurance.
