Circa 1905 Antique Puzzle; OUTLINE MAP of the UNITED STATES, Published by Milton Bradley. 64 piece wooden puzzle with printed lithograph paper adhered to both sides--two puzzles in one. The United States map includes 48 states plus; Alaska, Hawaii, Phillippines, and Puerto Rico. The map lists Guthrie as the capitol of Oklahoma. Oklahoma City became the capitol in 1910, which indicates that this puzzle map pre-dates 1910. Reverse side puzzle features national flags, interspersed with patriotic illustrations of Uncle Sam holding a US Map. Approximate puzzle size is 20-1/4" x 14" (an easily frameable size). Condition: missing original box. puzzle has soiling, staining, a couple areas of chip loss on wooden pieces. some of the paper is lifting off the wood, with occasional edge wear and tears.
