Description
This is an early 1900's automatic coin changer invented by Edward Brandt who worked at a local bank in Watertown. The mechanical machine was designed to cut down the amount of time used to count change. It can dispense coins from 1¢ to 99¢. There are nine channels for pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and half dollars but it also has an unusual channel for silver dollars. It has a brass body with a chrome finish and an ornate design throughout. Marked with serial number 62-33482. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 11-1/2"T x 11"W x 13"D.
