Wurlitzer Model 1080 Jukebox - 1947, Designed by Paul Fuller. Also called the "Colonial", the beautiful wood veneered case has a serpentine form with mirrored plastics on the front which are illuminated from the inside; has a blue plastic and chromed lyre shaped speaker grill with amber glowing center piece, studded with stars. Signed on a metal tag on the back with model number 1080 and serial number 1948622. Speaker bracket is broken, plastic "make selection" tag is melted, lights work, replaced backboard, straps securing mirrors are replaced; mechanism needs some restoration, coin mechanism is sticky, we can insert coins and selector buzzes when button is pushed, but will not feed record and turntable doesn’t activate. 58 in. high x 33 in. wide x 25 in. deep.
