Framed watercolor by Agatha Beatrice Kirsch (1879-1953, Washington and Iowa). The painting depicts Fisherman's Dock and the Seattle Cedar Mill from the southwest end of Ballard Bridge, c.1934-1940. Artist signed lower left. Measures 19.75" x 15.75". Framed and matted under glass, 30.25" x 26.75".
BIOGRAPHY NOTE: Kirsch worked on the Seattle WPA (Works Progress Administration). Her work is in the collection of the University of Oregon, Museum of Art, the Newark Museum, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Burke Museum, University of Washington, and the Pioneer Association of Washington.
